Clouds

One afternoon, G and I were working in the flower beds, and I decided it would be a perfect day to sit down on our "hill" in the front yard and show him the clouds. We talked about the different clouds and how you can see shapes and things in the clouds.

From this point forward, every time he sees clouds he says,

"Look at the clouds, mommy. I see an alligator eating a pickle."

It's always an alligator eating a pickle. He came up with it on his own. Too funny!

Is he even mine?

I so badly want just a little bit of my son's looks, actions, pinky toe to look like/resemble me. He doesn't have to be my twin, but he can at least do something to remind me that he's mine. I did carry him for 9+ mo! LOL. Anyway, here's more proof that I'm just the mother ship that brought my husband's twin into the world. :)

Rudolph

G joined in on the kids program on the boat. He loved it! He said it was his favorite part of the trip; it was better than Santa, Christmas, hanging out with us and even better than playing on the beach. They did keep him busy making crafts, watching movies, riding three wheelers, getting tattoos, being made up to look like a pirate; what's not to like?!

Anyway, he volunteered to sing before both of the evening shows. They would sing Rudolph and We Wish You A Merry Christmas. We are trying to get the entire video from another parent as I missed this part, but as the kids walked out on the stage, G looked down and realized that his shoe was untied. B and I realized that this meant trouble. He kept saying that his shoe was untied, but no one heard him. We were too far away to come to the rescue. The song began and G yelled out, "Wait! My shoe is untied!" The song came to a halt while the director ran out to tie my son's shoe. Once all was right with the world, the show went on. The ship was rocking but the kids did a great job. My son continued to try to steal the show. Below are the videos, and if I ever get the video from the other parent, I'll be sure to post. It's priceless.

The Big Vote

Tee hee! We were buying some finishing touches for G's costume and found these. I had to take pics and share! Funny, no Palin masks to be found. Sold out??

I just thought he looked hilarious in the hat. Nothing political, just funny.
