G and his Papaw

I thought I would take a moment and post the pics of G and his Papaw since G's birth. You can tell that they are truly good buddies. G and his papaw have been riding the four wheeler since he was just a few weeks old. Papaw would take him for a ride, and he would instantly fall asleep. They can ride the tractor together for hours without even talking to each other - they just enjoy each other's company. G is never quiet, so you know his papaw is special.

We hope you feel better soon. G is ready for another ride on your John Deere! We love you!!

What a week!

What a week we've had. Between traveling to OKC, late nights, no naps, hospital visits, and G being sick himself, by Saturday he had enough. Every year, I take his picture at my parent's farm (well, on some nearby land) where I can always find wildflowers in May and June. He just wasn't having it. I tried and just gave up. I thought they were just as cute as they were sad. :) Gotta roll with it.

G is now a proud owner of a John Deere tractor bicycle. He is thrilled! We rode it around the neighborhood and taught him how to use the brakes. He did fall a couple of times, but he was ok. It's just part of it unfortunately. Brad kept saying, "Take a picture of him falling" for prosperity, but I just wanted to make sure he was ok. :)
